Takeout Conspiracy disassembles. This sends David and Adam in search of new band members.
April 2003
David joins a short-lived punk band with a few friends. Bassist Mike Hooper was present at this session, and was later invited to join Lightly Toasted Touché.
July 12, 2003
David performs during the gathering of Glamorgan Church of God's 50th Anniversary Banquet. David also backs up Warrent Smistad on bass for his original song, "In God's Hands." David was later asked to record the songs he performed at the banquet.
September-October 2003
Mike Hooper is invited to join Takeout Conspiracy for another Daniel Amos tribute album entitled More Negative Fruit.
David records "As the Clouds Pass Me By" and "In the Moonlight" in a single session. These songs were recorded by Glamorgan Church of God's request, and were submitted on CD for archival purposes.
November-December 2003
After working on a couple of songs for More Negative Fruit, Mike Hooper becomes a permanent part of the band.
