Early 2002
David and Adam Burwash form a band and begin writing songs that eventually find their place in Digital Stereotype's repertoire. They establish the core of band efforts that follow.

March-April 2002
Peter Jadczyk joins the band as rhythm guitarist.

August-September 2002
The band assembles two additional members: Nick Mackrory on bass and Arthur Dick on vocals. The members settle on Digital Stereotype as their name.

September 21, 2002
Digital Stereotype performs in Calgary, AB at an outreach event hosted at the Olympic Plaza.

Late September 2002
Digital Stereotype disassembles. Arthur Dick stays behind, and forms Takeout Conspiracy with David and Adam. The band was short-lived and never got off the ground.

Meanwhile, talks were in progress about the creation of a Daniel Amos fan album at the Daniel Amos Message Board. David decided to record a song for it.

December 31, 2002
The DAmb (Daniel Amos Message Board) fan album is released. David and Adam sent in their interpretation of "Home Permanent" by Daniel Amos. Their contribution can be found under "arcticsunburn", which was David's user name at the DAmb.
